Assistance available

Under the Joint Action in support of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC), the European Union is offering assistance that addresses the drafting of national legislation implementing the BTWC.

Depending on the requirements, the assistance may also involve:

  • reviewing the completeness of existing national measures;
  • identifying possible gaps in existing national measures; and/or
  • advising on approaches to implementing BTWC obligations through national measures.

Obtaining assistance

Assistance offered by the EU will respond to the specific needs of requesting States Parties. To this end, the requesting State Party can describe its specific needs in the request form.
